Tour of clinical site and meet staff.
Attend meetings, case/photo review, examinations, court testimony, other as determined by instructor.
Tuesday
Attend meetings, case/photo review, examinations, court testimony, other as determined by instructor.
Wednesday
Attend meetings, case/photo review, examinations, court testimony, other as determined by instructor.
Thursday
Attend meetings, case/photo review, examinations, court testimony, other as determined by instructor.
Friday
Attend meetings, case/photo review, examinations, court testimony, other as determined by instructor.
Closing meeting with instructor to complete required forms, discuss experience.
Objectives:
As a result of having attended this conference, participants will be able to:
Describe how to perform all components of the medical evaluation including specimen collection.
Identify ways the medical provider is used as a resource in the community and what that role is.
Discuss how the multidisciplinary team interacts/functions.
Apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to the care of child victims in the clinical setting.
