Brief Description:
Children's Advocacy Center that houses all members of the multidisciplinary team in one building (social services, law enforcement, prosecutors, mental health, medicine) and is affiliated with the University of Oklahoma. The Center is a member of the National Children's Alliance, has two full time physicians and a pediatric nurse practitioner, and has two examination rooms and two interview rooms. Examinations are documented by video colposcopy. The Center sees 1000+ outpatient visits per year and its medical providers are called as consultants by the four major hospitals in Tulsa. Populations served include Caucasian, African American, Latino, other.
